Plumbing
CPVC, UPVC and PVC pipes, fittings, valves and sanitaryware.
Product overview
A plumbing package covers supply lines, drainage lines, valves and fixtures. CPVC handles hot and cold supply, UPVC handles cold supply and some drainage, and PVC/SWR handles soil, waste and rainwater.
The failure point in Indian plumbing is almost never the pipe — it is the joints, the concealed fittings and the valve quality. Buying a premium pipe with a cheap valve behind the wall is a false economy.
Typical units: piece, metre, set. Priced per length or piece; the fittings count usually exceeds the pipe cost on a bathroom.

Buying guide: plumbing
- Match pipe class to pressure and temperature — do not use plain PVC on a hot water line.
- Buy fittings of the same brand and system as the pipe; cross-brand solvent-weld joints are a common leak source.
- Pressure test the concealed lines before plastering. Every time.
- Budget properly for valves and concealed bodies — replacing one later means breaking a tiled wall.
