Transporter Agreement
These terms apply to fleet owners and drivers carrying building material deliveries booked through Nautook.
1. Registration and documents
You must provide accurate driver, vehicle and licence details, and hold a valid driving licence, vehicle registration, fitness certificate, permit where applicable and motor insurance for the entire period you operate on the platform. Expired documents mean suspension until they are renewed.
2. Independent contractor
You operate as an independent transport service provider. Nothing in this agreement creates employment, agency or partnership with Nautook. You control your vehicles, your drivers and your working hours.
3. Trips
You may accept or decline assigned trips. Once accepted, you undertake to collect from the stated pickup point and deliver to the stated address within the agreed window, to carry only the assigned load, and not to exceed the vehicle's permitted capacity.
4. Location sharing
Live location sharing must be enabled for the duration of an active trip so the buyer and supplier can track the delivery. Location is collected only while a trip is active and is used for tracking, dispute resolution and service quality. See the privacy policy.
5. Delivery confirmation
Delivery must be confirmed in the driver dashboard at the point of handover. This timestamped confirmation is the record used for settlement and for any subsequent dispute, so it must be marked accurately and not in advance of actual delivery.
6. Loss, damage and safety
You are responsible for the safe carriage of the load between pickup and delivery, and for loss or damage arising from your handling, overloading, unsafe driving or route choice. You are responsible for compliance with traffic, transport and overloading regulations, and for any penalties incurred.
7. Payment settlement
Trip charges are settled to your registered bank account or UPI ID following digital delivery confirmation, according to the rates agreed for the vehicle type, distance and load. Deductions may apply for demonstrated short delivery, damage or trips abandoned after acceptance.
8. Conduct
You agree to behave professionally with buyers, site staff and supplier yards, not to demand payment beyond the agreed trip charge, not to solicit off-platform work from buyers introduced through Nautook, and not to subcontract an assigned trip to an unregistered vehicle.
9. Suspension and termination
Either party may terminate with notice. Nautook may suspend a partner immediately for document lapses, safety incidents, repeated no-shows, false delivery confirmation or fraudulent conduct. Amounts properly due for completed trips remain payable.
10. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of India, with courts at Raipur, Chhattisgarh having jurisdiction. Questions: contact us.
